Acobur was founded in 1998 as a consultancy specialized in public tendering for the healthcare industry. In 2022 it took the natural step: turning that expertise into the first commercial-intelligence SaaS platform for the sector in Spain and Portugal.
1998 · The origin
Since 1998, Acobur has worked alongside laboratories, manufacturers and distributors in their relationship with the public healthcare system: interpreting tender documents, anticipating awards and turning public procurement into a stable commercial channel. That work produced the internal databases, alert systems and proprietary healthcare classification that power WeTender today.
2022 · From consultancy to product
WeTender launched in 2022, designed by the same team that had spent two decades managing tenders in the sector. Every product decision — from classification by active ingredient and healthcare family to exclusion-risk detection — is grounded in real cases handled by Acobur’s consultants.
